Job Description
Jobs Roles & Responsibilities
1. Patient Assessment and Diagnosis
Conduct detailed medical history taking and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (lab, imaging, etc.).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
2. Comprehensive Patient Care
Provide continuous and coordinated care to patients of all ages infants, adults, and elderly.
Manage common medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, infections, and respiratory diseases.
Offer minor surgical or procedural care when needed (suturing, abscess drainage, etc.).
Ensure timely referral to specialists for complex cases.
3. Preventive and Health Promotion
Conduct routine health screenings, immunizations, and wellness checks.
Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and nutrition.
Promote early detection and management of chronic diseases.
4. Patient Education and Counseling
Provide counseling on mental health, family planning, and stress management.
Guide families in managing health issues collectively (e.g., hereditary or lifestyle-related conditions).
Support patients in medication adherence and treatment compliance.
5. Coordination and Continuity of Care
Maintain long-term relationships with patients and families for ongoing health management.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals (nurses, specialists, therapists) to ensure holistic care.
Manage follow-up visits and monitor progress over time.
6. Clinical Administration and Documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
Ensure compliance with medical, ethical, and legal standards.
Participate in audits, quality assurance, and improvement programs.
7. Emergency and Acute Care
Respond to urgent and emergency medical conditions.
Stabilize patients and initiate appropriate emergency treatment.
