Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Champion Agile values and Scrum principles across delivery teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Define and evolve delivery frameworks, KPIs, and best practices for Agile execution.
- Mentor Scrum Masters and Agile team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and stakeholder communication matrices.
- Drive backlog grooming, prioritization, and release planning in collaboration with Product Owners.
- Monitor team velocity, sprint burn-downs, and delivery health metrics to ensure transparency and predictability.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies with clarity and confidence.
- Align delivery outcomes with strategic business objectives and customer expectations.
- Lead governance reviews, steering committee updates, and executive reporting.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives, including training, coaching, and change management.
- Identify and remove organizational impediments to Agile adoption and team performance.
- Contribute to thought leadership through internal forums, playbooks, and Agile maturity assessments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of project management experience, with 5+ years in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven success in delivering enterprise-scale projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Strong understanding of Agile metrics, team dynamics, and servant leadership.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or equivalent.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage distributed and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
