Job Description

Position Overview:


A Business Development Manager works to improve eClinicalWorks' market position and financial growth. It is their job to work with the internal teams, marketing staff and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. A Business Development Manager also helps manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.


Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Identify decision makers within the client organization and setup strategic meetings to help understand requirements and align future goals.
  • Sell new products and services to current customers and enhance existing relationships.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Understand the company's goal and purpose to enhance the companys performance in the market.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase insales/adoption.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of Relationship management, lead generation, brand building, revenue generation, market research and penetration, customer retention etc.
  • Basic understanding of cloud Computing/Storage, Database, Server etc.
  • Basic understanding of US healthcare industry, Interoperability, EMR, EHR, EHX, Patient Engagement etc.
  • Minimum one year of experience in the Healthcare Software industry, will be an added advantage
  • Ability to create business plan and present with executives/medical practitioners etc.
  • Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks products and services/other EMRs will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to foster meaningful business relationships

  • Self-driven and highly motivated
  • Independent learner
  • Flexible

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree, BBA, MBA etc.
