Sr. System Engineer @ PertSol

Job Description

• Design and implement reliable, high-performance IT systems, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.

• Lead or participate in infrastructure deployment projects, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability.

• Perform advanced system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of servers and applications.

• Oversee regular updates, patching, and backup procedures to maintain system security and integrity.

• Ensure optimal system performance, conducting tuning, load balancing, and resource optimization.

• Strong expertise in system engineering and administration, including Linux and/or Windows Server.

• Proficiency in virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).

• In-depth understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and Protocol levels.

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Relevant certifications (e.g.RHCE, MCSE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
