Job Description
experience,Role & responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client regulations, SOW, and EHS standards.
- Negotiate with vendors/subcontractors to secure cost-effective transport services.
- Monitor fleet costs, performance, and operational KPIs to achieve revenue goals.
- Lead and manage fleet partner supervisors, drivers, and ground staff; drive training, safety, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure 100% driver attendance for compliance and tracking.
- Resolve disputes with drivers, staff, or partners while maintaining discipline and standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Routing, CSMs, Ops, Finance, Tech, Product) for seamless execution.
- Liaise with customers to manage expectations, reduce delays (FPP/OTA), and address complaints.
- Use transport management systems (Moveinsync, Meta and VET) for tracking, analytics, and decision-making.
- Drive service delivery in BAU and disruptive situations; oversee daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews.
- Handle escalations diplomatically and manage risks/incidents effectively.
- Design deployment plans to improve vehicle utilization, increase DCO penetration, and ensure driver/fleet partner satisfaction.
- Strengthen vendor management by ensuring punctual deployment, tracking vehicles, and proactive communication on delays.
Preferred candidate profile:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Service delivery or Transport Management.
- Good Communication and analytical skills
- Prior experince in Transport Management is mandatory
- Workdays: 6 days
- Shift: Rotational
- Language: Kannada, English, and Hindi.
