Job Description
Designation: Quality Analyst
Preferred Experience: 4+ years
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Analyst with a strong background in software testing and experience in the Pharma/Life Sciences domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of applications through manual and automated testing, while bringing in industry-specific knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, regulatory compliance (GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11), and validation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
- Validate software systems to ensure compliance with pharma industry regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and domain experts to identify and resolve defects.
- Perform defect tracking, logging, and root cause analysis using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar.
- Document test results and prepare detailed QA reports for stakeholders.
- Support validation and verification activities in alignment with GxP, FDA, and other pharma compliance requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual/automation) with exposure to pharma or life sciences projects.
- Hands-on experience with QA methodologies, test management tools, and defect tracking systems.
- Familiarity with compliance and validation requirements (GxP, FDA guidelines, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience with automation tools (Selenium, UFT, or similar) is a plus.
