Job Description
- L2 Network Security Engineer JD : Skill ASA primary and good to have FTD or F5 Define critical network security system KPI s for monitoring and maintain the network security system availability
- Handling escalated tickets from L1 team related network security infra systems
- Resolve respective security infra domain related L2 Issue eg
- ASA, FTD, F5, ISE etc
- Taking ownership of assigned solution and tracking changes
- Patriciate in design review and provide recommendations
- Identify the improvements and suggest for operation maturity
- Advance troubleshoot of reported issue and work on resolution
- Deploy security of End to End device to service oriented architecture
- Escalate to L3 or vendor support for High and Critical outages with detailed findings
- Handle new security product integration and deployment activities
- Implementation of network security change request for security product
- Product migration POC and deployment support
- Creates and maintains standard operating procedures and other similar documentation
- Experience with security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security
- Sound knowledge in F5 Firewall and Cisco ASA/FTD deployment and implementation support
- 7-15 years of experience networking and IT telecom industries
- Experience with security of End to End device to service oriented architecture
- Hands on experience with Python or cloud platforms/technologies Experience in enterprise IT security and Data center concerns and technologies, including VPNs, network security, encryption, authentication, application level network protocols, PKI, IPSec, Firewall, SSH, SSL, LAN/WAN and TCP/IP
- Experience with Linux operating systems, Openstack and automation tools Experience with Network security technologies (encryption, data protection, firewalls, privilege access, etc
- ) Knowledge of security best practices with relation to applications, network, and client setups Set up, maintain, and monitor various IT security systems/applications Hands on experience in security products such as ASA,FTD, FMC, ISE
- Certifications: Preferred F5, CCNA, CCNP, CKA, CCIE
