Job Description:
As a Pre-Sales Engineer for Proactive Data Systems your primary responsibility will be to perform technical pre-sales activities for new and existing opportunities. Utilizing your in-depth knowledge of Cisco solutions and competitors' offerings, you will demonstrate the advantages to both prospects and partners. At Proactive Data Systems we highly leverage our Pre-Sales Engineers, which means you are a critical component to the success of the entire sales team.
Act as the technical subject matter expert, thoroughly understanding products, features, functions, and benefits while being able to communicate to all levels of customers. Understand customer requirements for LAN networks, wireless networks and WAN networks. Position right Solution as per there needs. Create product documentation for customers and perform competitive analysis regarding competing products. Perform site surveys and provide onsite deployment assistance on large deployments
Requirements: Expert knowledge of LAN networks, WAN networks, DNAC, SD_WAN, site surveys, requirements gathering, deployment challenges. Expert knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wave 1 & 2 wireless networks, site surveys, requirements gathering, deployment challenges. Understanding of basic network Security including firewall, content filtering and authentication methods. Knowledge of sales cycle, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proven negotiation techniques Great relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience and presentation skills.
