As the Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving gross margins through detailed analysis of billings, costs, systems, tools, processes, and metrics. A solid understanding of financial metrics for Day 1 and Day 2 support, as well as operational processes including inventory management, repairs, and vendor management, is essential for this role.
Reporting to the Director of Business Management, your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning the forecasting of the Services P&L.
- Supporting and driving continuous improvements through data analytics to identify areas for margin enhancement.
- Working with the services leadership team to identify and implement operational efficiencies and process optimizations.
- Collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams to execute strategy and resolve issues.
- Reporting metrics and maintaining dashboards.
- Enabling and supporting discount reporting.
- Establishing strong, trusted partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and ongoing effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Business, or a related field, with an MBA and 7+ years of business operations or related experience.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Business Operations within a customer experience function in a technology-oriented industry.
- Experience in P&L forecasting.
- Strong business acumen and analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally to deliver measurable improvements in gross margin and profitability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS applications and advanced user of Tableau, Jira, and Confluence.
- Willingness to work during US East Coast hours.
