Job Description

Our Client is a fast-growing company in the advanced polymer materials space, focused on launching engineered polymer laminates the next-generation alternative to traditional mica-based laminates. They require an experienced, self-driven professional from the rigid laminate or decorative furniture surface industry who can help develop and scale their polymer laminate brand across India.


Post : Sales & Business Development Managers

Location : Mumbai

Qualification : Engineer / MBA / Graduate with maximum experience
Experience : Minimum 3 yrs in decorative laminate, rigid laminate, allied furniture surface industry

Salary : 35 LPA


Job Profile

  • Market Development: Identify and engage potential distributors, channel partners, and OEM customers across India.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute region-wise sales plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Team Building: Recruit, train, and manage junior sales representatives in key regions.
  • Channel Management: Establish a robust PAN India distribution network and ensure its effective management and performance.
  • Brand Positioning: Work with marketing teams to position the product as a superior alternative to traditional laminates.
  • Product Training: Conduct training sessions for internal teams, distributors, and influencers on product features, benefits, and application.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on competitor products, pricing, market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Feedback Loop: Provide product development and R&D teams with structured customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Generate accurate forecasts and regular reports for sales and pipeline tracking.
  • Event Participation: Represent the brand in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to increase market visibility.

Required Candidate Profile

  • Should have a Strong network across dealers, distributors, OEMs, and interior design influencers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and scale business from scratch.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across regions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Build, train and lead a sales force.
