Job Description

As a Software Engineer I at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across various industries. Working within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects, you will transform the way businesses operate. Your expertise in software engineering, coding, and problem-solving will shape the future of technology and industry solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Experience in software product development of scalable enterprise applications - Proficiency in .NET, C#, REST API, Design Pattern Exp, and OAuth - Excellent knowledge in Micro Service frameworks, Kubernetes, and Docker containers - Strong understanding of Database design, writing SQL queries, Stored Procs, etc. (Mongo DB, PostgreSQL) - Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS - Familiarity with unit test frameworks like XUnit, NUnit, Test Driven Development (TDD) - Minimum 1-3+ years of experience in developing cloud applications, preferably Microsoft Azure functions, Event Hubs, IoT Hub, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc. - Knowledge of agile software development **Qualifications:** - Good to have: - Experience with real-time device interaction using industry standard protocols, e.g., MQTT, ModBus, OPC, etc. Honeywell helps organizations solve complex challenges in automation, aviation, and energy transition.
