Role Overview

The Assistant Manager Sales Process will be responsible for supporting the sales team in driving revenue growth, ensuring smooth execution of the sales process, and maintaining high standards of customer engagement. This role involves team management, sales performance monitoring, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager in managing and motivating the sales team to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process from lead generation, follow-ups, closures, and after-sales support.
  • Monitor and track sales performance through reports and dashboards; highlight gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Train, mentor, and guide sales executives to improve performance and maintain process adherence.
  • Handle client escalations, negotiate effectively, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams for lead management and campaign execution.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of leads, opportunities, and closures in CRM systems.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
  • Support in recruitment, on boarding, and performance management of the sales team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and regulatory requirements during the sales process.

Qualifications & Skills

  • HSC/Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 36 years of experience in sales, with at least 12 years in a team handling or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and lead management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
