Job Description
- You will be working with MUFG Investor Services (US), LLC, a company that offers asset servicing solutions to the global investment management industry. Leveraging the financial and intellectual capital of MUFG, one of the largest banks in the world with USD 2.7 trillion in assets, you will have the opportunity to provide clients access to a wide range of leading solutions. These solutions include fund administration, middle-office outsourcing, custody, foreign exchange, fund of hedge fund financing, trustee services, depository services, securities lending, and other banking services. Your primary responsibility as an Accounting Manager with over 7 years of experience will be to manage and lead a team of accounting professionals, currently consisting of 7 members. You will be reviewing financial statements and other accounting reports for Private Equity clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial services, a sound understanding of private equity operations, investment management, and financial markets. Additionally, possessing excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and excellence will be crucial for this role. - Review client reports and financial statements for accuracy and completeness - Manage technical research and the application of US GAAP to accounting issues related to investment companies - Automate and document processes as needed - Supervise employees to ensure quality and productivity - Focus on strategic areas such as continuous improvement, operational management, people leadership, and governance & risk The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant or hold a Masters degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Finance. You should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in operations within the financial services industry, with at least 3 years in managing teams of more than 4 members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to lead a medium-sized team, and a continuous improvement focus are some of the personal attributes that will be beneficial for this role.,
