Infra and cloud Lead @ gtprod

Job Description

      Expert in AWS service provisioning, VPC setup, instance optimisation, and cloud automation. Able to implement prescribed security configurations and integrate cloud resources with on-prem infrastructure.

      Develop scalable and secure cloud architectures using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFront that align with the organizations business goals.

      Lead the deployment and configuration of AWS resources using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible). Automate routine tasks and processes to optimize efficiency

      Continuously monitor resource utilization and system performance using AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, and other monitoring tools to ensure effective cost management, high availability, and scalability.

      Develop and implement robust disaster recovery, backup, and data integrity strategies in line with business continuity plans.

      Security Architecture & Implementation: Design and implement security measures to protect applications hosted on AWS

      Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify risks and implement remediation measures.

      Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements (such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or NIST) by developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and best practices

      Provide regular updates and technical reports to IT leadership and stakeholders on cloud performance, security status, and compliance matters.

      The role requires proven experience in handling AWS cloud infrastructure combined with practical knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift services for deploying, scaling, and managing containerised applications within the AWS environment.
