Job Description
Role & responsibilities
We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead the development of scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery, enhance system reliability, and drive DevOps best practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins Automate application packaging and deployment using tools like Chef Habitat and infrastructure provisioning & configuration using tools like CloudFormation Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure with a focus on scalability, security Monitor and troubleshoot system performance using Splunk, Dynatrace Execute Performance test using tools like Jmeter & blazemeter Ensure system security through access controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment strategies and release processes Build and maintain Spring Boot applications, REST APIs, and work with SQL/NoSQL databases Guide teams on standards, automation, and tooling Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles Strong experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code practices Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration Good to have: Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
