Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Produce precise 2D rebar shop drawings using CAD software.
- Develop detailed schedules that specify the type, size, length, and bending requirements for each rebar.
- Accurately calculate the required quantities of rebar and other accessories for a project to assist with material estimation and procurement.
- Adhere to industry standards and building codes as per Dubai standards.
- Modify and update drawings as per design changes or client requirements.
- Follows guidelines from coordinator and engineers on workflows and software tools.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma/ bachelors in civil engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in structural drafting and rebar detailing in middle east projects.
- Strong understanding of middle east drawing submission standards in Shop drawing stage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
