Job Description

Research area- Behavioural Neuroscience
Selected candidate`s job would include performing experiments in mice, recording and analysing experimental data, proper management and reporting of data, and allied lab-related and project-related responsibilities

Functional Area

Essential Qualification
M.Sc./M.Tech. in biotechnology, life science, zoology, biological sciences, neuroscience or life-science and neuroscience-allied fields. NET/GATE qualification is mandatory. The candidate will be expected to join for Ph.D.

M.Sc./M.Tech. in biotechnology, life science, zoology, biological sciences, neuroscience or life-science and neuroscience-allied fields. NET/GATE qualification is mandatory. The candidate will be expected to join for Ph.D.

Required Skills
Required - strong fundamental knowledge of neuroscience, molecular biology, biochemistry and statistics. First-hand experience with mouse handling and dissection is mandatory. Hands on experience with basic molecular biology techniques and histology is necessary. Preferred - Firsthand experience with mouse behaviour experiments and stereotaxy will be an advantage.
