Job Description
Job title: Design Engineer/ Sr. Design Engineer - NPD
Experience required: 3 to 8 years
Qualification required: B.E. / B. Tech/ Diploma - Mechanical / Plastics / P.G Tool & Die Making - Diploma from CIPET/NTTF will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities & Desired Skill Set:
- Technical ability to create Engineering Drawings, 3D models & Assemblies with application of GD&T, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of Skeletal modelling / Top Down and Bottom-up approach / using Configurations and Family Tables would be an advantage.
- Should have working knowledge & understanding of Mechanical Engineering Practices and Design Principles of Machine Design & SPM.
- Sound knowledge on conceptualization/ Concept development and detailed Engineering Design.
- Should have an understanding of Various manufacturing processes like: Plastics / Sheet Metal / Fabrication / Castings / Rapid prototyping.
- Should have a good understanding of different Engineering Materials and Material selection processes.
- Experience in product testing and validation would be an added advantage.
- Should be capable of handling the assigned tasks individually with good communication skill.
- Must have a good understanding of Engineering Change process and Product Data Management.
- Should have good Analytical and Communication Skills.
- Understanding of FMEA / DFM / GD&T / Tolerance Stack up.
