Job Description
Varex Imaging, headquartered in Salt Lake City, USA, is a leading innovator, developer, and manufacturer of X-ray imaging component solutions, which includes X-ray tubes, digital flat panel detectors, software, and other key components of X-ray imaging systems.
Your Role
- Ensure work area meets established cleanliness and safety standard
- Thorough Knowledge on multiple chemicals -acids, alkaline, solvents, detergents, etc
- In-Depth knowledge on the chemical handling, preparation, safety procedures for chemicals handling and disposal
- Knowledge on chemical baths, chemical process of multiple parts
- Disposal knowledge of various chemicals as per the norms
- Gather parts, use right fixtures for right parts, crates, totes, etc for chemical processing of the parts
- Clean and prepare parts as per the specifications and WI
- Familiarity with plating operations
- Basic knowledge on assembly of parts Small parts to large parts for brazing
- Basic knowledge on Heat Treatment process
- Basic knowledge on sand /Grit blasting operations, handling of blasting materials
- Basic knowledge on Handling various parts Glass components, Metal parts
- Good knowledge on storage requirements of parts, chemicals, maintaining records of chemicals etc
- Perform acceptance test as per the specifications and WI to ensure parts cleaning meets specifications.
- Record Test Data as per GMP and the test specifications
- Perform daily maintenance.
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Capability to train new operators on chemical cleaning process.
- Proficiency in creating, reviewing, and editing of relevant technical documents.
- Utilizes good time management skills for on-time delivery of assignments.
- Manages projects of moderate scope as assigned.
- Organizes and conducts meetings with cross functional teams as and when required.
- Documents work/deliverables according to the company standards and industry regulations.
- Normally receives little or no instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Your Profile...
- Bachelor's degree chemical engineering /chemistry (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or master's degree in metallurgy or chemistry with 3 years of related experience.
- US Visa preferred
