Job Description

Dean- Agriculture

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise the Assistant or Associate Dean of Students, Program Assistant, Student Legal Services, and Student Senate Office Operation.

Serve as Chief Judicial Affairs Administrator and coordinate informal and formal hearings

Assist with formal student academic grievances and complaints.

Serve as the Advisor for Student Government

Coordinate On Call Response for Emergencies

Coordinate the Students of Concern Committee

Advise the Vice Chancellor and others in matters of student services.

Develop strategies for promoting student engagement and learning in collaboration with Academic Affairs.

Communicate effectively with students and other stakeholders.

Foster an inclusive University community and promote equity for all students.

Oversee outreach to diverse student populations to support institutional diversity and equity goals.

2.Dean- Management

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

Representing and promoting the business school both internally and externally. Leading the faculty, to achieve the mission of the school and the university in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service.

Reviewing and approving all curricular requests and coordinate instruction, ensuring programs meet accreditation standards.

Developing and overseeing policies and procedures for the business school implementing academic policies established by the University Responding to student academic concerns and seek resolution assisting in the establishment of and support for the orderly and regular review of programs and curriculum.

Gathering regular feedback and evaluation to ensure that the School is focused on continually improving the student experience.

Creating objectives and measurable targets for all members of staff which link to overarching strategic goals.

In collaboration with the leadership team plan, execute, manage and extensively carry out Industry outreach and engagement with the known corporates.
