Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Firewall and Network Security
- Manage Fortinet firewalls (Multi Location).
- Configure VPNs, user-based policies, and URL filtering.
- Analyse traffic and bandwidth utilization; identify top resource consumers.
LAN/WAN & ISP Management
- Plan and segregate VLANs and IP segments.
- Maintain switches (Fortinet/Cisco) and Aruba wireless controllers.
- Monitor bandwidth usage and handle outages.
Server and Data Centre Operations
- Administer Windows & Linux servers.
- Handle dell servers and hardwares
- Manage infrastructure via Proxmox and virtual clusters.
Storage & Backup
- Monitor and manage NetApp SAN, Synology NAS.
- Implement Rsync replication, Synology Hybrid Backup, AWS S3 lifecycle policies.
- Configure Veeam & Proxmox backup systems.
Email, DNS & SSL Management
- Google Workspace administration (user, group, audit logs, PST migration).
- DNS management via GoDaddy subdomains, mappings.
- SSL certificate installation, renewal, and tracking.
Active Directory & User Management
- AD user/group/OU policy management.
- Patch management and OS updates.
Cloud & Billing Management
- Manage multi-account AWS and GCE environments.
- Monitor resource utilization, optimize billing, and prepare cost reports.
- Monthly cloud invoice tracking and reporting.
Desktop Support & IT Asset Management
- Internal support: onboarding, system config, ISMS compliance.
- Asset inventory management.
- License management.
VOIP & Communication Systems
- Handle EPABX, VOIP SIP configuration and quality issues.
- Allocate/transfer extensions and update usage reports.
Team & Client Management
- Assign daily/weekly tasks; conduct KT sessions.
- Provide support for offshore clients.
- Perform requirement analysis and provide infrastructure architecture estimates.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain Infra performance reports, Timesheets, Capacity Plan, etc.
- Maintain vendor, floor plan, VPN user list, software licenses.
- Ensure compliance with ISMS/ISO policies.
Required Technical Skills:
- Proxmox, Veeam, Synology NAS
- Fortinet Firewalls, Aruba IAPs
- AWS, Google Cloud (GCE), S3 lifecycle
- Active Directory, Windows/Linux Servers
- Google Workspace, Office 365
- DNS/SSL (GoDaddy), Jira/GLPI
Soft Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong communication & documentation
- Vendor management
- Team leadership and mentoring
- Cross-functional collaboration (with Offshore teams)
- ISO/ISMS policy awareness
Qualification:
- Any Graduate (Preferably B.E / B.Tech / MCA)
- Certifications preferred: AWS/GCP, Fortinet NSE, ITIL
