OTM Technical/ Functional-Consultant/ Manager @ Capgemini

Job Description

Functional Expertise OTM / TMS:

• Strong experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Expertise in configuring and managing OTM modules: Order Management, Shipment Planning, Execution, and Freight Settlement.
• Business process understanding in logistics, transportation planning, and supply chain operations.
• Requirement gathering, functional design, and solution mapping for transportation workflows.
• Experience in end-to-end OTM implementations and post-go-live support.
• Knowledge of OTM agents, automation rules, and workflow configuration.
• Ability to liaise with business stakeholders and translate functional needs into system capabilities.

Technical Expertise OTM / TMS:

• Hands-on experience with OTM/TMS technical components including data structures and integration points.
• API development and integration using REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle SOA Suite, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Groovy for custom extensions and automation.
• Data exchange and transformation using XML, XSLT, JSON.
• Development and troubleshooting of custom reports, dashboards, and data flows.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, PL/SQL) for backend data operations.
• Technical documentation and support for system upgrades and enhancements.Role & responsibilities
