Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Security Operations Supervisor with 10+ years of expertise across multiple network security domains. The ideal candidate will lead and manage security operations, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise networks and applications.
Experience Level: 10+ years.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise and mentor a team of security engineers and analysts, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Oversee daily security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and change management.
Network Security Operations
Manage and optimize firewall policies (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, etc.) for performance and compliance.
Administer and monitor VPN solutions, ensuring secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
Oversee proxy solutions for secure web traffic management and threat prevention.
Manage and maintain Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect applications from OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
Incident Response & Threat Management
Lead incident investigations and coordinate root cause analysis and remediation activities.
Collaborate with SOC teams to detect and respond to advanced threats and vulnerabilities.
Process Improvement & Automation
Develop and implement security automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for network security operations.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, etc.).
Conduct regular security assessments and audits of network infrastructure.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on experience in network security, including firewall, VPN, proxy, and WAF management.
Strong leadership and supervisory experience in security operations teams.
Expertise in routing, ACLs, and secure network design.
Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, or similar) for security operations.
Solid understanding of incident response and threat management frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant certifications preferred (CISSP, CCNP Security, CISM).
Additional information (if any):
Should be flexible to provide coverage in US night hours
Should be flexible with shifts and supporting on weekends
