Job profile :

Responsibility & Authority

l Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entireHotel

l Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard.

l Maintainparstock of guest supplies,cleaning supplies, linen and uniform.

l Organize inventories with Accounts and General Store for linen, uniform and fixed assets.

l Pay particular attention while organizing pest eradication activities.

l Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures

l Prepare reports for management information.

l Assist Purchase department in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping.

l Plan, control and supervise Horticultural activities.

l Attending and resolving guest complaints.

l Verification of supplies consignments.

l Organize on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness.

l Approval of the Functional Manual of the department.

l Recommend recruitment of new personnel.

Other Routine Responsibilities:

l Daily inspection ofpublic areasand employees locker rooms.

l Daily briefing of Supervisors/ Executives.

l Coordinating thepreventive maintenanceschedule of rooms and public area with maintenance department.

l Immediately attending to guest requests.
