About this opportunity:

We are thrilled to invite a seasoned Cloud and Linux Administrator to join the Ericsson team. We re seeking an experienced professional to manage and optimize Cloud Native Infrastructure (CNIS) platforms and Cloud Container Distribution (CCD) environments. This role involves deep technical expertise across Kubernetes ecosystems, container infrastructure, SDI, networking, and Linux system administration

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and operate CNIS platforms (Kubernetes, container runtimes, IaC with Ansible).

Manage CCD lifecycle: provisioning, upgrades, backups, DR readiness, and workload onboarding.

Perform CCD health checks, drift analysis, capacity planning, and compliance monitoring.

Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and monitoring tools.

Maintain documentation, runbooks, and support DR planning & RCA.

SDI & Networking:

Administer SDI components: Calico, Multus, Ceph, CSI drivers, and CNI plugins.

Troubleshoot CNIS/SDI integration and programmable network issues.

Manage Juniper/Extreme Networks switches, VLANs, ACLs, trunking, and switch firmware/upgrades.

Linux Administration:

Expert in RHEL system admin, LVM, multipathing, patching, and storage integration.

Hardware support for HP ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge servers.

Strong in performance tuning, kernel analysis, and backup management.

Process & Compliance:

Apply ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Ensure security, compliance, and operational best practices.

Preferred Certifications:

CKA / CKAD / CKS (Kubernetes)

RHCSA / RHCE (Linux)

Juniper / Extreme / SDN networking

ITIL Foundation
