Job Description
- Serve as the line manager for the Product Management team in India, focusing on mentoring, skill development, and career growth.
- Foster a high-performing culture by introducing modern product management practices, promoting accountability, and encouraging continuous learning.
- Collaborate closely with Product Line Managers, who will set priorities and direct the day-to-day work of the India Product Managers, ensuring alignment with global product strategies.
- Lead development of the maturity model for Bottomline s Global Capability Center (GCC) in India as it relates to Product Management, ensuring the team s skills, processes, and structure evolve to meet growing business needs.
- Work with the Technology Transformation Leader to transition the India team from a traditional execution-focused delivery model to a proactive, empowered, and strategically minded organization.
- Champion AI-driven productivity tools and modern product processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the global Product Management function.
- Build strong relationships across functions and geographies, navigating a matrixed organization to ensure collaboration, alignment, and influence at all levels.
- Partner with Product Line Managers to ensure the India team meets product line objectives, delivers on commitments, and drives global impact.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration, ensuring the India team contributes strategically to product vision and execution.
- Extensive experience as a Product Manager with a global perspective and proven success in leading or working in matrixed organizations.
- Exceptional management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive results across geographies and functional lines.
- Demonstrated success in introducing progressive product practices and modern ways of working, including agile, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with AI tools and their application in enterprise product environments to enhance productivity and outcomes.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to mentor, develop, and retain high-performing product teams.
- Strategic thinker capable of balancing team development, operational execution, and long-term product vision in a complex, global, matrixed environment.
