Job Description
- The role of Fund Accounting in Wealth Operations at Genpact involves the administration of a portfolio of Funds, including providing necessary services to investors and corporate entities. As the role holder, you will be accountable for preparing and delivering Net Asset Values (NAVs), financial statements, reporting, and fund accounting in a timely manner. To qualify for this position, you must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Postgraduate degree would be an added advantage) and demonstrate effective probing and root cause analysis skills. Preferred qualifications include relevant work experience in an Associate role and previous involvement in a middle/back office within a Financial services firm. Your responsibilities will encompass a strong understanding of financial instruments such as Bonds, Mutual Funds, MBS, SWAPS, Equities, etc. You will be responsible for preparing daily/monthly NAVs of Mutual funds for clients, reconciling Cash/Position/Market Values, resolving breaks, reviewing pricing exceptions, booking corporate actions accurately, and accruing/amortizing non-security-related Fee accruals. Additionally, you will finalize month-end NAVs, provide Investor Level Allocation reports, support in audits for funds, coordinate with various stakeholders internally and externally, demonstrate knowledge of business transitions and documentation, exhibit proficiency in MS Excel, and maintain relationships with onshore counterparts. The successful candidate must have exposure to audits (internal and external), a solid grasp of Risk and Control frameworks, experience with applications like Global Plus, AddVantage & Trust Desk, and be prepared to work within the support hours from 7am ET to 7pm ET with shift hours to be determined.
