Assistant Manager World Area FP&A Job SummaryIf you are a Finance professional & leader, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Financial professional to work with our Finance COE in Pune.
We value autonomy, self-reliance, fast movers, a passion for robust and ability to maintained quality of financial reporting.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Coaching, Mentoring, and retaining a high-performance team
- Setting up and driving team level objectives
- Lead and drive the Process Optimization and Automation Projects
- Manage the monthly reporting process, ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual actual financial closes
- Adhere and meet financial reporting deadlines and explain variations.
- Good command on departmental/Functional Cost Center analysis
- Prepare management reports defining key indicators and metrics and provide comprehensive variance analysis.
- Support on Annual Budgets, mid-year reviews and forecast processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functions CFS, Business Units, GFS etc.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations to WA Leadership teams.
- Continuous development and research of accounting principles and practices including IFRS.
- Contribute team playing, creative thinking and solutions that help achieve organizational objectives.
- Support in audit related activities
- Support in Ad-hoc requests
- Drive continuous process improvement culture within group

You handle the risk that comes with moving forward when the outcome is not certain.For This Role, You Will Need:
- Finance Professional with minimum 5+ year of work experience in FP&A Domain
- Hands on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools
- Knowledge of Power BI added advantage
- Analytical thinking ability and good team player
- Self-starter, suggesting and implementing improvements to the processes.
- Balance stakeholder, Situational adaptability, manages complexities & Manages ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA/MBA in Finance
- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- System Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management
- Power BI or related presentation tools
