Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for Windows and Active Directory infrastructure; mentor team members, prioritize tasks, and manage escalations.
- Oversee capacity planning, system upgrades, and expansion of Active Directory services.
- Participate in the design, analysis, and deployment of new and existing infrastructure systems.
- Identify and remediate system vulnerabilities; support internal audits and security initiatives.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, technical designs, and architecture documentation.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance performance and security.
- Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to support operational and project needs.
- Provide deep expertise in ADDS, AD LDS, Azure AD, and AD Connect for architecture and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve replication issues, Kerberos/NTLM authentication problems, and network-level trace diagnostics.
- Manage core Windows infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, WINS, PKI, ADFS, DFSR, and GPOs.
- Administer Active Directory Certificate Services and maintain the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Maintain Windows Server 2019/2022, including patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Support application deployments, proactive health checks, and service restorations.
- Operate and maintain endpoint management using ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
- Maintain ISMS documentation and ensure adherence to organizational security policies.
- Perform Linux system administration in mixed-OS environments.
- Use PowerShell scripting to automate routine administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, B.Tech, or MCA.
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience with at least 5 years specifically in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing multiple Active Directory Forests and Domains in large-scale, distributed enterprises.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022, Azure AD, ADFS, DFSR, DHCP, DNS, and PKI.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Kerberos, NTLM, and LDAP authentication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with GPOs, SSO, and identity management frameworks.
- Endpoint management expertise with ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
- Proficient in patching, system documentation, and ISMS compliance.
- Exposure to Linux administration in enterprise environments.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for task automation.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based change, incident, and problem management practices.
