Job Description
Role purpose:
- Manage Application Operations and Application Maintenance for Amdocs Ordering, SOM, ODO Applications.
- Collaborate with Business to interpret product operational challenges and technical issues and effectively communicate how a solution will align to their needs and requirements
- Lead and articulate end-to-end business processes and the key integration/ control points, work cross-functionally across different business processes
- Drive transformational/modernization projects.
- Maintains solid relations and works closely with Development teams, Architects, technology peers and vendors.
- Operational readiness-Provide support and cooperation in reviewing High-Level Design, testing for new changes.
- Drive efficiency through process improvement, automations to continually improve service and reduce costs
- Actively participate in WAR ROOM investigations
- Participate in Periodic meetings with all stakeholders on various aspects like performance, SLA/KPIs, issues/escalations etc.
- Build Amdocs SOM, ODO skills in IT-Operations
Capacity Planning & Hardware Assessment and able to create technical roadmap for the product
Essential
- University degree, with preference on technology (Computer science (CS), Information technology (IT), Telecommunications (ENTC).
- 10+ years of experience in Amdocs CES, SOM, ODO applications with multi domain complex environment.
- 12+ years of experience on managing Telecom Fix line products for European customers
- 10+ years of ITIL knowledge & experience: Incident Resolution, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management etc. Analyze root cause of issues, identify known errors, coordinate actions to fix the errors
- Proven track record of Log Analysis & Fluent in Analytical Troubleshooting skills. Exposure to logging tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, AppD.
- Having a good understanding of agile methodology, SRE
