Job Description
- You will be working as a Manager at Apparels based in Delhi, India. You should have 6 to 9 years of experience in Knits, sourcing, and PDQAT. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the availability of MFL brands-FW Sourcing on time with predefined quality and at targeted costs for conversion. You will be responsible for seasonal/annual sourcing planning, quality & cost-effective sourcing, budgeting, monitoring & control of sourcing-FW costs, and effective cost negotiation. Your role will also involve coordinating with the Design & Product teams to plan requirements for all FG for woven products, sourcing FW locally and globally, and monitoring & controlling the delivery of FW on time. You will be expected to formulate SOP and systems for effective sourcing operations, develop and implement quality assurance & control systems for FG vendor locations, and manage vendor development & relationship. As part of sourcing initiatives, you will be required to map FW, raw material prices, and domain trends in the market, identify suppliers globally, and ensure continuous fueling of new developments, value addition, and product improvements across categories. Additionally, you will provide functional & operational support to internal customers, especially the Design & Product Team. People development will be a key aspect of your role, where you will ensure the planned development of subordinates, monitor and review team and individual performance, and provide feedback to improve workflow. As qualifications, an Undergraduate degree is required, along with a minimum of 6-12 years of experience in a similar role. You will report to the Group Manager.,
