Job Description
Job title: Product Head - Digital Payments (UPI)
Location: Gurgaon / Mumbai
BU/Function: Consumer Banking
Reports to: Head Retail Liabilities Payments Product
Job Responsibilities: As a Product Head, you will be leading the product roadmap for UPI primarily through various branches, program managers, technology service providers etc. along with close coordination of NPCI/RBI and with the internal IT & SDG team. An important part of the Digital Payments team, you will drive the projects with various clients which includes managing the Product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will drive adoption of UPI and increasing transaction through campaigns/offers for the client.
Details:
- Define product strategy & roadmap for future development
- Define and execute the UPI adoption plan for all customers of the bank including existing and new to bank customers
- Responsible for all compliance and business-related projects pertaining to UPI
- Ensure projects/ features for the customers which are first in the market being launched on frequent interval
- Execute product roadmap and Responsible for end to end Product Development Lifecycle management.
- Define use cases for leveraging the platform for new and on boarded customers via digital channels as well as via partnerships.
- Should be able to convert BRD/PRD to with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders and teams - Technology partners, in-house Technology, Digital Solutions, Credit, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Business teams, for driving the timely launch of products/features.
- Manage sprint, product release and launches on regular intervals.
- Fulfil duties of a Product Owner, including sprint planning/reviewing meetings, and maintaining the product backlog.
- Be an expert with respect to the competition.
- Being owner of product P&L, ensure the cost level and fee level targets are achieved on monthly basis.
Education and Work Experience Requirement
Education - MBA from Tier 1/Tier 2 college
Work Experience - 8-15 years of post MBA experience Prior experience of developing and managing digital business will be an added advantage Prior experience of working on digital products in financial services industry will be a bonus
