Job Description
- NTT DATA is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join their team in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team operating at any location. Your main tasks will include overseeing and supervising reconciliations related to product master creation and maintenance, client master creation and maintenance, vendor master creation and maintenance, service master creation and maintenance, data governance, and data quality. You will guide your team in performing their day-to-day tasks, ensuring that all tasks are completed within the given timeframe and meeting quality parameters. Additionally, you will be expected to suggest improvements and innovations to processes for faster and more qualitative reconciliation. Management reporting through monthly dashboard and data analysis will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Performance Parameters: - Intensity / Commitment To Task: You should follow up on commitments, be self-motivated, responsive, and accessible. Maintaining a high level of accuracy with timely completion of deliverables and having good control over the entire process is essential. - Problem Solving: You should be able to identify problems, evaluate multiple options and recommendations, and support a solution. Creativity in coming up with solutions and keeping organizational goals in mind while making decisions is crucial. - Judgment: Developing an accurate perception and understanding of others" positions, feelings, needs, values, and opinions is important. Managing conflicts and adversity professionally and productively, making well-thought-out decisions is expected. - Motivating / Team Building: You should have the ability to get things done through team members by developing strong working relationships, instilling commitment and enthusiasm for high performance, displaying a positive attitude, and acting as a positive role model for others in the group. - Persuader / Communications: Expressing yourself in an honest, positive, and upbeat manner, listening well, and effectively communicating with appropriate individuals are key skills required. - Proactivity / Planning: Proper time management, establishing priorities, and effectively scheduling work to meet deadlines, anticipating obstacles, and developing contingency plans are essential qualities. - People Management/Development: Effectively training new employees, assessing developmental needs, providing honest and timely feedback, motivating and empowering the team and peers, encouraging initiative, contribution, and collaboration are part of the role.
