Job Description
As Senior SRE you will be part of our Media Measurement team. The team uses state-of-the-art technologies and rigorous methods to track who is watching what, where, and how they engage with content. Our clients can evaluate who is consuming which content across different media, platforms and devices, and know what the audience thinks about that content. As people consume media content on more channelsand through more devices, than ever before, we are proud to provide a full view on media consumption.
About you
You are a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer with a strong foundation in both technical and soft skills. Your ability to communicate effectively allows you to collaborate seamlessly with team members and stakeholders. You excel at problem-solving, quickly identifying issues and developing robust solutions to ensure system reliability. In your role as a senior you mentor other engineers and drive initiatives that enhance team performance.
- Your adaptability enables you to embrace new technologies and processes, while your collaborative nature ensures you work well with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
You manage your time efficiently, prioritizing tasks to address critical issues promptly. Even in high-pressure situations, you maintain your composure and focus, demonstrating excellent stress management. - Your attention to detail ensures accuracy in monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation, contributing to the overall reliability and performance of the systems you oversee.
- Youre a self-starter and you love keeping up to date with the latest developments in cloud and configuration management technologies.
- You understand the benefits of an immutable infrastructure and you enjoy enabling self-service deployments through continuous delivery pipelines.

- You have a head for operations and you know that security, backups, scalability and resilience are a paramount concern.
- You have a keen interest in security and youre always looking for ways to use infrastructure-as-code to achieve security and compliance at scale.
- You understand that costs are a concern for the modern infrastructure engineer and youre always looking for ways to reduce them.
- You thrive in a collaborative DevOps culture and you love to work as part of a cross-functional agile product & delivery team alongside developers, data scientists, product owners and technical architects.
- You will be part of our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team and work together with our software engineering team to build and operate the infrastructure to measure audiences (TV, Radio, Digital) across different countries assess and analyze current infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- You will act as a consultant to our internal stakeholders, design and implement scalable, secure, reliable, and cost
efficient infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business goals and
requirements. Evaluate current architecture and operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
develop and implement cost reduction plans without compromising performance or reliability.
monitor and report on cost-saving initiatives and their impact on the overall budget.
ensure high availability and reliability of systems through proactive monitoring and incident management.automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Qualifications
You have
- Strong knowledge in managing and automation of Windows Server deployments
- Knowledge on the Linux platform
- Deep understanding of networking and TCP/IP
- Strong experience with AWS, VMware and Terraform
- Solid knowledge of technical architecture and modern design patterns
- Strong knowledge of a scripting language such as Powershell, Bash.
- Knowledge and working experience of MongoDB, MS SQL Server and RDS services
- Set up and supported CI/CD pipelines and tooling such as gitlab or github
- Good experience in monitoring, log aggregation and alerting tools (Datadog, Opsgenie)
- Experience with workflow management / processes like Airflow
- Some experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes
- Experience working in production environment
