Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Drupal 10 Backend/Frontend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend module development, API integration, performance optimization, and Drupal multi-site architecture. You will work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver high-quality digital experiences across multiple regional or brand-specific websites under a unified platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Drupal 10 modules with clean, scalable code.
- Implement and manage Drupal multi-site architecture, ensuring reusability, configuration management, and security.
- Configure and optimize Drupals Configuration Management system (CMI) across multiple environments and sites.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services using REST/JSON or GraphQL.
- Work with Drupal's entity and field APIs, views, and hook system to extend core functionality.
- Collaborate with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines, caching strategies (Redis/Varnish), and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Ensure best practices in code quality, security, performance, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, technical issues, and cross-site inconsistencies in a multi-site setup.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and reviews.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in backend development with Drupal 8/9/10.
- Proven experience working on Drupal multi-site installations.
- Good command on views.
- Familiarity with Drush, Composer, and Drupal Console.
- Experience with custom module development, hook implementations, and event subscribers.
- Proficiency in GIT-based workflows pipelines, and version control strategies for multi-site builds.
- Knowledge of database optimization and query performance (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Working knowledge of Twig, RESTful services, and API integrations.
- Familiarity with Acquia, Pantheon, or other Drupal hosting platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of Drupal security best practices and OWASP guidelines.
Experience with Layout Builder, Paragraphs, or Component-based theming
