Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Implementation:Designing and deploying Cisco ACI architectures, including single-pod and multi-pod configurations.
- Configuration:Managing and configuring core ACI components such as Tenants, Bridge Domains, VRFs, and L3 Outs.
- Automation & Scripting:Utilizing REST API and Python scripts for network automation, configuration audits, and bulk configuration.
- Troubleshooting:Performing root cause analysis and resolving complex network issues related to ACI, switches, and routers.
- Maintenance:Upgrading and maintaining APIC controllers, leaf, and spine switches.
- Documentation:Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design documents, implementation plans, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaboration:Working with other IT teams, including security, system administrators, and application developers, to integrate ACI solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Cisco ACI Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, including its architecture and core components.
- Networking Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of switching (L2/L3), routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and core networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs).
- Data Center Technologies: Experience with Cisco Nexus switches, vPC, and VXLAN.
- Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation tools and protocols like REST API, Ansible, YANG, and Netconf.
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python for network automation tasks.
- Hardware Knowledge: Practical experience with Cisco Enterprise and Data Center switches and routers.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
