Job Description

Major Roles & Responsibilties.

Supervise kitchen operations ensuring smooth workflow and timely food preparation.
Plan and design menus based on customer preferences, seasonality, and cost control.
Oversee food preparation & presentation maintaining quality, taste, and consistency.
Monitor inventory & stock levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships.
Implement cost-control measures to optimize food usage and minimize wastage.
Ensure hygiene and safety standards as per food safety regulations.
Train, guide, and supervise kitchen staff, delegating tasks effectively.
Develop and standardize recipes to maintain uniform taste and quality.
Handle customer feedback related to food quality and make necessary improvements.
Collaborate with management for pricing, budgeting, and promotional events.
Maintain kitchen equipment by scheduling cleaning and reporting repair needs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Create a positive work environment encouraging teamwork and productivity.
