Job Description

Seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in system administration , DevOps methodologies , and IT infrastructure management , with a focus on automation, scalability, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure , including servers, networks, and cloud environments.

Design and implement DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

Automate system tasks and workflows using scripting and configuration management tools.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.

Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment and release processes.

Maintain system security , compliance , and backup strategies.

Document system configurations, operational procedures, and incident resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology , Computer Science , or a related field.

37 years of experience in DevOps , IT operations , or system administration .

Proficiency in:

Linux/Windows server administration

CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)

Strong understanding of networking , security , and virtualization technologies .

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills .

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in AWS , Azure , or DevOps tools .

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident management systems .

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
