Job Description
Job Title: Internal Auditor
Company: We are a Leading Steel Manufacturing Companies in West Africa. With over 22 years of experience, we are one of the largest steel manufacturers in Ghana and West Africa. Our products include mild steels, angle bars, C channels, flat bars, iron rods, steel plates, roofing sheets, and per-engineered buildings. Location: Ghana, West Africa
Will require to visit frequently to different branches for Internal Audit, Stock Audit of Branches and F&A Audit.

Experience: 8+ years
Qualification: CA / CIA / Inter CA (Preferred) or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will inspect, analyze, and evaluate our organization's financial records, processes, and internal controls. You will conduct various audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and help enhance our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute audit plans for multiple departments and locations.
- Perform risk assessments to define audit scope and objectives.
- Develop and implement audit procedures for operational, compliance, and financial audits.
- Review financial documents such as account books, ledgers, invoices, and bank statements.
- Verify assets, liabilities, and equity transactions.
- Conduct reconciliations, roll-forward tests, and trace transactions to validate accuracy.
- Identify and report control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure timely follow-up on audit findings and risks.
- Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards and industry best practices.
- Maintain detailed working papers with audit findings and conclusions.
- Assist in implementing new accounting methods and internal controls.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Education: CA / CIA / Inter CA preferred, or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
- Skills: Proficiency in audit software like ACL, IDEA, or TeamMate is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- High ethical standards and integrity are a must.
