Azure DevOps Engineer Data Services CI/CD Implementation

Project Overview: We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support CI/CD implementation for a Data Services platform featuring web services and an Angular-based GUI. The project is part of a broader digital transformation initiative aiming to streamline deployment, testing, and release management pipelines using Microsoft Azure. The role will involve working with both backend services and frontend components to design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines and deployment strategies that ensure seamless integration and delivery in a cloud-native Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for microservices and Angular applications using Azure DevOps - Integrate build and deployment workflows for both frontend (Angular) and backend (REST APIs/Web services) components - Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning using Azure services (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform) - Configure and maintain build agents, test automation triggers, and release approvals in Azure Pipelines - Collaborate with development, QA, and IT operations teams to align deployment practices with organizational standards - Troubleshoot build failures and deployment issues across environments - Monitor, optimize, and document DevOps processes for ongoing scalability and efficiency

Required Skills & Experience: - 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards) - Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, version control (Git), and branching strategies - Experience building and deploying Angular applications and REST APIs - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Azure AKS) is a plus - Proficiency in scripting (YAML, PowerShell, Bash) - Good communication and team collaboration skills - Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments
