Shopify Front End Developer @ Apptad

Senior Front-End Developerwith hands-on experience in Shopify (Liquid)and strong expertise in ReactJSto join our growing e-commerce team. You will be responsible for developing seamless, high-performance front-end experiences for our Shopify-based storefronts, integrating React-based applications, and driving UX/UX enhancements.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of modern front-end development practices, particularly in an e-commerce context.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries using ReactJS.
• Integrate third-party APIs, Shopify Storefront API, and GraphQL endpoints.
• Optimize performance across devices and browsers.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on front-end best practices.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to operations and activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ yearsof experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio.
• 5+ yearsof experience working with Shopifyand Liquid templating.
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, Redux (or similar state management libraries).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/SCSS), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience working with Shopify APIs, Storefront API, and GraphQL.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and version control best practices.
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and SEO principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify Plus and headless commerce architectures.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Next.js, or other modern front-end stacks.
• Experience integrating Shopify with third-party services (Klaviyo, Recharge, etc.).
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence tools.
