Job Description
Job Purpose To assist in the coordination and execution of cargo operations activities across multiple regions, ensuring they adhere to Air Indias standards for safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.To support the implementation of operational strategies and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of regional cargo handling and logistics.
Role & responsibilities Operational Coordination
- Support in planning and coordinating cargo shipments, optimizing routing, capacity allocation, and equipment utilization.
- Work on improvement of key performance indicators like FAB, Utilizations
Documentation and Compliance
- Assist in preparing and verifying accurate cargo documentation, ensuring compliance with international and domestic regulations. Address any operational discrepancies and ensure adherence to customs requirements.
Safety and Security
- Help maintain strict safety protocols and security regulations, including hazardous materials handling procedures. Monitor and report any safety or security incidents.
Customer Service Support
- Collaborate with customer service representatives to address inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Process Optimization Identify opportunities to optimize cargo operations, implement best practices, and reduce costs, contributing to overall operational improvements
Preferred candidate profile 3+ years of experience in cargo operations, logistics, or transportation, preferably with some exposure to international cargo handling. 3+ years of experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on cargo operations and customer service.
