Job Description

Seeking a technically proficient Blue Yonder WMS Consultant with strong expertise in systems integration , middleware , and technical architecture . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java , SQL , UNIX/Linux scripting , and supply chain management systems , particularly Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) . You will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting WMS solutions in complex enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support Blue Yonder WMS solutions, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.

Work with middleware platforms to enable real-time data exchange and process automation.

Develop and maintain custom components using Java , SQL , and UNIX/Linux shell scripting (e.g., KornShell, C Shell, Perl).

Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.

Participate in technical architecture design , configuration , and deployment of WMS solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration , data querying , and application performance .

Ensure compliance with IT security, infrastructure standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or related field.

69 years of experience in software development , IT operations , or supply chain systems .

Strong hands-on experience with:

Blue Yonder WMS (technical and functional)

Java , SQL , middleware integration

UNIX/Linux scripting (KornShell, C Shell, Perl)

IT infrastructure , system administration , and server configuration

Familiarity with multi-paradigm programming , software architecture , and enterprise IT environments .

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ICL VME or mainframe systems .

Knowledge of supply chain processes , logistics , and warehouse operations .

Exposure to cloud-based WMS deployments and containerized environments .
