About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, process-driven, and entrepreneurial Health Coach who will not only deliver coaching but also own the end-to-end customer journeyfrom the point a lead is generated to ensuring the customer gets results, stays on the program, and refers others.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and managing the sales process from lead capture to conversion
- Ensuring high-quality program delivery and customer retention over a 6-month+ journey
- Building and onboarding the wider team of coaches, doctors, and vendors
This role combines hands-on coaching, customer success, and operational management and is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and wants to be part of a purpose-led healthcare movement.Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Process (Lead Conversion)
- Design a workflow to ensure every lead is followed up promptly and efficiently.
- Own the lead funnel and coordinate:
- Timely intro calls
- Diagnostics scheduling and completion
- Doctor consultations
- Post-doctor follow-up sales calls to drive conversion
- Use CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) to track and optimize lead status.
- Build SOPs to ensure no lead is lost and that team performance is tracked against KPIs.
2. Program Delivery & Retention (Post-Payment 6 Months)
- Design and implement an onboarding journey for paying customers with clear SOPs and protocols.
- Ensure delivery of all key touchpoints such as:
- Medication reminders
- Health coach follow-ups
- Regular progress tracking
- Monthly review sessions with doctors/nutritionists
- Use tools (e.g., WhatsApp, Healthie, Google Sheets, or custom dashboards) to:
- Track medication adherence and weight loss progress
- Identify at-risk users likely to drop out
- Intervene proactively to drive outcomes and satisfaction
- Develop a system to encourage referrals and testimonials from satisfied customers.
3. Team Building (Hiring & Onboarding)
- Create a hiring and onboarding plan for:
- Health Coaches: empathetic, structured, results-driven individuals
- Doctor Partners: obesity medicine-friendly, willing to adopt new protocols
- Pharmacy Partners / Vendors: reliable, compliant, tech-enabled
- Build onboarding toolkits and SOPs to align all partners with the program quickly.
- Set up regular quality checks and feedback loops to track performance and ensure excellence.
4. Health Coaching (Direct Delivery)
- Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions (virtual or in-person).
- Provide behavior-change counseling on nutrition, exercise, medication adherence, and mindset.
- Maintain accurate notes and ensure clinical documentation is up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the medical and operations teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Health Sciences, Nutrition, Psychology, or a related field
- Certified Health Coach (ACE, NBHWC, or equivalent)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in health/wellness coaching
- Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
- Tech-savvy and familiar with CRM, tracking tools, and patient engagement platforms
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven by customer success
Preferred
- Experience in managing sales funnels and customer journeys
- Background in corporate wellness or digital health startups
- Exposure to obesity, diabetes, or chronic disease management programs
- Multilingual capabilities
