Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Zuora Developer with a strong background in Zuora CPQ, Zuora Billing, and usage-based product models. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, customizing, and supporting Zuora solutions across the entire subscription lifecycle, ensuring smooth integration with Salesforce and OBRM
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Zuora CPQ and Billing modules to support subscription sales processes, including new product launches and pricing models.
- Implement and maintain usage-based billing models, including mediation, rating, and usage data ingestion.
- Build and optimize product catalogs, rate plans, charges, and discounts in Zuora.
- Create and maintain Zuora Workflows to automate business processes (e.g., bill runs, notifications, data syncs).
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Zuora, Salesforce (CRM), and other enterprise systems using APIs and middleware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to billing, usage processing, and revenue recognition.
- Support ongoing Zuora system administration, user access, and configuration changes.
- Work on data migration tasks and ensure data integrity during system changes or upgrades.
- Stay current with Zuora platform enhancements, best practices, and industry trends.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Zuora CPQ and Billing.
- Proven experience with usage-based pricing models and usage record processing in Zuora.
- Strong understanding of Zuora's product catalog architecture, subscription lifecycle, and finance operations (invoicing, payment, collections).
- Proficiency in Zuora APIs (REST/SOAP) and Salesforce integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Zuora Workflow, custom fields, notifications, and billing operations.
- Strong experience working with Salesforce CPQ (Z-Quotes) and its integration with Zuora Billing.
- Ability to design scalable solutions in complex subscription environments (multi-currency, multi-entity, etc.).
- Experience with AQuA queries, data source exports, and reporting in Zuora.
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
