Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS), regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and implement audit recommendations
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions
- Cross function on improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with tax laws
- Ensure closure of books of accounts as per timelines
- Compile financial reporting packages.
- Respond and action compliance and audit requests originating from both internal and external stakeholders
Preferred candidate profile
- CA with 3-6 Years of experience and strong communication skills, problem solving approach, teamwork and collaboration skills, critical thinking.
- Experience in Month End Closures, Policy documentations, working on new constructs around new schemes and projects, Statutory and Internal Audits
