Tech-Stack and Engineering Tools:
- Cloud Platform: AWS, GCP
- Cloud stack: Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Databases, Cloud Storage, and Message Queuing, API Gateway, IAM
- Automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Management and optimization tools like AWS Pricing Calculator and Billing Reports
- Cloud Security Tools
- Engineering Process Tools: Dockerization, Kubernetes, GIT, Jenkin, Jira, SonarQ
Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement robust cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Develop and execute cloud strategies that align with organizational goals.
3. Oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.Analyze current cloud usage and identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance resource utilization.
4. Automate the process of creating, provisioning and configuring AWS cloud resources using Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) to make deployment consistent, efficient, and reliable.
5. Establish and maintain security protocols for AWS resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Implement cost optimization strategies, including monitoring, rightsizing, and identifying underutilized resources.
7. Work with development, operations, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud services.
8. Simplify and streamline Identity and Access Management policies, ensuring appropriate access control.
9. Optimize API management workflows and costs using Apigee or alternative platforms.
10. Implement and enforce security best practices in both software development and deployment
11. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, addressing security concerns proactively
12. Stay up to date with cloud technology advancements and provide recommendations to enhance the organizations cloud capabilities.
13. Design and implement robust disaster recovery and backup strategies.
14. Stay up to date with AWS advancements and implement best practices for cloud operations. Requirements: 1. 10+ years of total experience in Cloud Architecture with 5+ years in AWS.
2. Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).
3. Professional certifications such as AWS Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent.
4. Expertise in AWS services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Databases, Cloud Storage, and Message Queuing.
5. Hands-on experience with cost management and optimization tools like AWS Pricing Calculator and Billing Reports.
6. Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
7. Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
8. Solid knowledge of API management and tools like Apigee.
9. Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
10. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
11. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
12. Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS) is preferred.
13. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is preferred.
14. Nice to have an understanding of 3GPP standards and 4G/5G network integrations .
