Senior Liferay Developer / Architect
Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Liferay portal applications, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Leverage deep understanding of Liferay concepts, including OSGi, Portlet lifecycle, Assets, Permissioning, Service Builder, Rest Builder, and more.
Customize Liferay core modules and application modules to meet specific project needs.
Work closely with database administrators to ensure efficient data management and query optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Liferay environment, including bug fixes for existing applications.
Collaborate with technical leads, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.
Mentor and guide junior developers to ensure they adhere to best practices and meet project deadlines.
Contribute to the technical design of portal applications, providing valuable insights and expertise.
Develop scalable, flexible, and high-quality code that aligns with industry standards.
Requirements :
Over 8 years of experience in Java development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Liferay DXP.
Strong understanding of Liferay core concepts and architecture.
Proficiency in customizing Liferay core modules and application modules.
Knowledge of Liferay entity-related database tables.
Experience with Elasticsearch, including advanced configuration and optimization.
Familiarity with web services, including SOAP, REST, and JSON-based APIs.
Experience with front-end frameworks and templating in Liferay DXP, preferably React.
Working knowledge of Linux RHEL, Tomcat, and Apache WS.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Liferay Portal 7.x or later.
Contributions to the Liferay community or open-source projects.
Certifications related to Liferay or Java development.
