Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate Key Account Manager to manage strategic partnerships with major retailers in the Mom & Baby segment. The successful candidate will drive growth through baby specialty stores, major retailers, and online platforms while understanding the unique needs of family consumers.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Account Partnership


  • Onboard and manage key accounts including baby specialty retailers, department stores, and online platforms.
  • Develop account-specific strategies for baby and family product categories.
  • Execute joint business planning with major baby product retailers.
  • Build strategic partnerships with pediatric and maternity healthcare providers.

Family Consumer Focus


  • Understand the buying journey of new parents and growing families.
  • Develop account strategies that address different family life stages.
  • Plan promotions around baby milestones, holidays, and family occasions.
  • Create educational partnerships that support new parent customers.

Sales Performance & Growth


  • Achieve sales targets across assigned mom and baby retail accounts.
  • Negotiate promotional terms, shelf space, and marketing support.
  • Plan seasonal campaigns for baby registries, baby showers, and family events.
  • Monitor account performance and implement family-focused growth strategies.

Product Launch & Education


  • Coordinate new baby product launches with key retail partners.
  • Provide product education and training to retail staff.
  • Manage baby product demonstrations and sampling programs.
  • Support retailers with baby safety and product information resources.

Market Intelligence & Insights


  • Track trends in parenting, baby care, and family lifestyle products.
  • Monitor competitor activities in mom and baby retail channels.
  • Provide insights on family consumer behavior and shopping patterns.
  • Analyze baby product performance across different retail formats.

Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 47 years of experience in key account management, category management, or B2B salespreferably in FMCG, Mom & Baby, or related categories.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of growing accounts and managing large volumes.
  • Experience in working with e-commerce platforms and retail chains is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, analytics tools, and CRM software.
