Job Description
Luxoft is looking for Software development professionals with excellent experience in Java.
The tasks of the service will be:
To operate within a development team in the Middle-Office Stock IT function
To coach the developers and contribute to their technical skills enhancement
To participate within a project team engaged in the implementation of a cross functional
solution at a global level.
To liaise with Business Analysts in all aspects of development.
To participate actively to Production support and diagnose incident
To produce technical specifications and any other design documents required to ensure
knowledge base
To guarantee of good practices of development are followed (e.g. Code coverage, be aware
of code smells, design patterns, tests)
To suggest new ideas (innovate) and to be a force for bringing forward proposals
To ensure that all documentation is up-to-date, complete and adheres to standards.
Effective and timely communication with all members of the team.

10 years of domain expertiseTechnical stack :o Java 8, Java 17, Swingo SQL : Sybase 16.2, Oracle 12co Framework : Spring / Spring integration / Hibernateo Application server : JBoss Wildflyo API : EJB / WS REST, JMSExpertise required :
Performance optimization and/or system rebranding
Multithreading
SQL
Unix / Linux system (e.g. KSH, batch)
Agile methodology at project level
Working on global projects where resources are based across multiple continents and time zones.
International context: English and French.
All aspects of the software development cycle.
Asset Management
Exposure and Knowledge of Azure/Cloud
Extensive experience with trading platforms
Higher technical education in software development or equivalent work experience
Extensive programming skills in C# and .NET technologies -
Solid knowledge of database technologies
SQL
Ability to deliver high-quality production code and meet deadlines
Knowledge of agile methods (especially Scrum)
Team player with high motivation
Good written/oral language skills in English
Open-minded in dealing with people
Financial markets experience or commodity
